Abstract
The present folder contains data regarding the bottom-view images of the ECL emission at the gold 25-μm disc microelectrode in the 0.2 M PBS solution (pH 8) containing 0.5 M H2O2, 0.42 mM L-012 and 50 mM KNO3 or KCl. 

Electrode potential was set to 0.7 V, 2.4 V and 3V vs Ag/AgCl for 20 s.

Content of the files inside the folder "raw micrographs":

• file “D_700mV_KCl.tif” contains the bottom-view ECL image at the gold 25-μm disc microelectrode in the 0.2 M PBS solution (pH 8) containing 0.5 M H2O2, 0.42 mM L-012 and 50 mM KCl. The electrode potential was set to 0.7 V vs Ag/AgCl for 20 s and the image was recorded with a 1-s exposure time,upon applying the electrochemical potential for 1 s.

• file “A_700mV_KNO3.tif” contains the bottom-view ECL image at the gold 25-μm disc microelectrode in the 0.2 M PBS solution (pH 8) containing 0.5 M H2O2, 0.42 mM L-012 and 50 mM KNO3. The electrode potential was set to 0.7 V vs Ag/AgCl for 20 s and the image was recorded with a 1-s exposure time,upon applying the electrochemical potential for 1 s.

The electrode potential was set to 2.4 V vs Ag/AgCl for 20 s and the image was recorded with a 0.1-s exposure time,upon applying the electrochemical potential for 5 s.

• file “B_2400mV_KNO3.tif” contains the bottom-view ECL image at the gold 25-μm disc microelectrode in the 0.2 M PBS solution (pH 8) containing 0.5 M H2O2, 0.42 mM L-012 and 50 mM KNO3. The electrode potential was set to 2.4 V vs Ag/AgCl for 20 s and the image was recorded with a 0.1-s exposure time,upon applying the electrochemical potential for 5 s.

• file “C_3000mV_KNO3.tif” contains the bottom-view ECL image at the gold 25-μm disc microelectrode in the 0.2 M PBS solution (pH 8) containing 0.5 M H2O2, 0.42 mM L-012 and 50 mM KCl. The electrode potential was set to 3.0 V vs Ag/AgCl for 20 s and the image was recorded with a 0.1-s exposure time,upon applying the electrochemical potential for 5 s.

• file “C_3000mV_KNO3.tif” contains the bottom-view ECL image at the gold 25-μm disc microelectrode in the 0.2 M PBS solution (pH 8) containing 0.5 M H2O2, 0.42 mM L-012 and 50 mM KNO3. The electrode potential was set to 3.0 V vs Ag/AgCl for 20 s and the image was recorded with a 0.1-s exposure time,upon applying the electrochemical potential for 5 s.
