Abstract
This dataset contains electrochemical data acquired from ECL chronoamperometry experiments using homogeneous solution-phase [Ru(bpy)₃]²⁺ in circular screen-printed electrodes. The dataset is intended to demonstrate the synchronisation between the potentiostat and the camera, validating the coordinated operation of the platform.

The experimental conditions of the chronoamperometry experiments were:
	- Analyte: 250 uM solution-phase [Ru(bpy)₃]²⁺
	- Coreactant/Electrolyte: 180 mM tripropylamine (TPrA) in 0.3 M phosphate buffer, pH 6.8
	- Electrode Configuration (Screen-printed electrodes):
		- Working electrode: GST4500 C
		- Reference electrode: EDAG 725A Ag
		- Counter electrode: GST4500 C
	- Chronoamperometric Protocol:
		- Frameroi and background images (bg): No electrochemical signal applied; images used for ROI selection and background reference.
 		- ECL recordings:
			- Chronoamperometry (CA) three cycles of 1.3 V (1 s)/0 V (1 s) steps
	- Temperature = room temperature
	- Recording parameters:
OV9281 monochrome camera settings: analogue gain 1×, duration 6 s, framerate 30 frames/s, resolution 1280×800 pixels, brightness 0, contrast 1, noise reduction off, sensor mode 1280×800-Y10_1X10/RAW with YUV420 preview, buffer count = 10.
Note: For frameroi images, all settings except resolution were set to automatic; resolution fixed at 1280×800 pixels.

File Specifics
• 182 captured image frames and 1 video file
The dataset includes image files in PNG, TIFF and MP4 formats captured and saved using custom-developed platform software.
• 1 Excel file
The dataset includes two data files provided in CSV (Comma-Separated Values) format, containing the numerical outputs generated by the platform. The files were combined using Microsoft Excel for Microsoft 365 (MSO Version 2111, Build 16.0.19426.20260) and exported as CSV files.
	• Field delimiter: « , » (comma)
	• File format: Plain text CSV

Codebook of Variables
• 1 Excel file
"Synchronised_ECL_data_250mM.csv"
The dataset includes one tabular quantitative file in CSV (.csv) format with 7 columns:
• Time (s) = Time elapsed from the start of the electrochemical measurement, in seconds (s).
• Measured Current (A) = Electrical current recorded in response to the applied potential during chronoamperometry (CA), in ampere (A).
• Frame Index = Identifier of the frame number.
• Frame Time (s) = Corresponding time of the frame, considering the framerate, in seconds (s).
• Frame Current (A) = Corresponding electrical current of the frame, , in ampere (A).
• ECL_png_raw (counts) = Raw ECL intensity measured from the selected ROI in PNG image frames, in counts.
• ECL_png_raw-bg (counts) = Background-subtracted ECL intensity measured from the selected ROI in PNG image frames, in counts.
