Folder "ECL_profiles" Contents

The folder consists of:

• 1 tabular quantitative file saved in .csv format
“ECL_profiles_Main.csv”

• 1 README file
“ECL_profiles_README.txt”

Folder Documentation

Abstract
The presented folder contains data regarding the ECL profiles of [Ru(bpy)3]2+-functionalized, obtained from single beads sidelong imaging, under different experimental conditions. The images were collected on GC in either 0.1 M PBS (pH 6.9) with 180 mM TPrA or commercial buffers.

Content of the files:
• file “ECL_profiles_Main.csv” contains both the experimental and simulated vertical ECL profiles of [Ru(bpy)3]2+-functionalized beads for each condition.

File specifics
After their collection, the ECL .tif images were analyzed in ImageJ and the output data were exported as .txt files and elaborated through SigmaPlot. The elaborated results were copied in an excel file and converted in .csv file. In particular, to create the .csv files, “Microsoft Excel for Microsoft 365” version 2302 Build 16.0.16130.20332 (portable) was used, with the following specifics:
• character set UTF-8,
• field delimiter « ; » (semicolon).

Data sources
EC-LAB for windows v11.36 (software)
Internet server v11.36 (firmware)
Command interpretor v11.36 (firmware)

Codebook of variables

In the reported tabular quantitative files (.csv), the columns represent:

• Z (um) = spatial coordinate along the vertical direction;

• ECL intensity (a.u.) = either experimental or simulated ECL profile of single beads along the vertical direction.
