Abstract

We demonstrate the differential amplifier usingstriplines in 0.18µmCMOS technology. A test circuit hassingle-phasegain of 6 dB and 6.2 GHz bandwidth. Eyediagram of the amplifier at 10Gb/s shows good eye opening. Thisgivesthe possibilities for using the strip lines in circuits where over all good shielding is needed.
