Abstract

In this contribution it is shown that small changes to the choice of cell size in the FDTD and TLM methods can have a large effect on the predicted behaviour of a microstrip filter but that the use of Pre-calculated Correction Factors (PCFs) can vastly reduce this effect and also yield more accurate answers for a specified cell size.
