Abstract
This glossary is addressed to Russian students and operators who are interested in the Italian food culture. It includes terms about eight DOP, IGP and DOC foods from the region Emilia Romagna. It is a linguistic tool because it gives: - the translation of the terms from Italian into Russian; - the definition of the terms in Russian language; - information about the context in which the terms can occur; - synonyms of the terms. It is a reliable marketing tool because it describes: - the characteristics of such foods; - the particular area where they are produced; - their method of production; - their packaging; - their labeling.
