Abstract
This dataset is part of the Horizon 2020 project MERGE, Media, religion, and gender: transnational digital media actions of progressive and conservative social movements, funded by European Union. It contains all the posts from the “CitizenGO” Instagram account between 2013 (when the page was opened, the same year CitizenGO was established), and October 2024, including both pictures/videos and their captions. The data has been downloaded with Python using the Instaloader package. The download script can be accessed here: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17295352.
