Abstract
This dataset supports the development of sustainable methodologies for liquid-phase peptide synthesis (LPPS) using minimal protected amino acids. It includes experimental data related to the use of N-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-N′-tert-butylcarbodiimide (TBDC) tosylate as a coupling reagent in minimal protected liquid-phase peptide synthesis (MP-LPPS), aimed at improving atom economy (AE) and reducing process mass intensity (PMI). The dataset contains characterization data and analytical results for peptide sequences prepared without side-chain protection of arginine, histidine, tyrosine, and tryptophan. Data were obtained using 2-methyltetrahydrofuran (2-MeTHF) as the main solvent under sustainable reaction conditions.
