Abstract
The widespread use of plastics has led to pervasive environmental contamination, with adverse effects on ecosystems and wildlife. However, little is known about the effects of NP on female gametes. This study investigated the uptake of increasing concentrations (0, 5, 25, 50 and 100 µg/mL) of 30 nm FluoNP and the biological impact of 30 nm NP at the same concentrations on cumulus-oocyte complexes (COCs), using an in vitro model of pig oocyte maturation.
