Abstract

This dataset contains behavioral data collected from male and female mice heterozygous for the Grin2a T646A variant (T646A/+) and their wild-type (WT) littermates. The dataset was generated to characterize the functional consequences of the T646A variant in vivo, with particular emphasis on motor coordination, spontaneous locomotor and exploratory activity, muscle strength, sensorimotor performance, and spatial working memory. The behavioral battery comprises the Rotarod test, spontaneous locomotor activity assessment, forelimb grip strength test, horizontal wire test, and Y-maze spontaneous alternation test, hindlimb clasping assessment, and marble-burying test. Where applicable, animals were assessed longitudinally at different ages. Data are stratified by sex and genotype and are reported as individual-animal values. Blank cells indicate that no value is available for that animal or group at the corresponding time point.
