Abstract

A 2 V pp 44 Gb/s MUX-Driver IC has been fabricated in self-aligned InP DHBT technology to drive a 50 Q EAM. Optical eye diagrams have been measured up to 40 Gb/s with good extinction ratio of 9dB.
