Abstract

A distributed amplifier design and optimization program has been developed and used to design a family of broadband distributed amplifiers up to 20 GHz. The program is a fast and accurate CAD tool.S1mulation, layout and process are described and on-chip measurement results are presented. The realized demonstrators show a high level state-of-the-art performance.
