Abstract

[Returning from the Abyss. Primo Levi: A Witness to the Extreme Boundaries of Evil]. This paper aims to describe the Italian testimony of Nazism through the works by Primo Levi. In his books, Levi reconstructs the factual elements of Shoah as well as the theories that led to the huge catastrophe. By an accurate narrative, Levi drives his readers into the most painful paths of evil, without hiding a thin but still living hope in the goodness of man.
