Abstract
The data set contains all the entries in JSON format of the “ROCK Atlas”. The ROCK Atlas is an interactive platform that was created, edited and maintained by the research teams participating to ROCK project (see https://atlas.rockproject.eu/). The ROCK Atlas allows to visualize data, information, and elaborations regarding the cultural heritage of the three ROCK replicator cities (Lisbon, Bologna, Skopje), produced within and beyond the ROCK project actions, and the connection with the model practices implemented in the network of cities participating in the project (Athens, Cluj-Napoca, Eindhoven, Liverpool, Lyon, Turin, Vilnius). The Atlas provides data related to: - case studies within role model cities, geolocalised and described (e.g. cultural heritage-related regeneration experiences); - static cultural heritage urban elements (e.g. historic buildings, museums, libraries, …); - dynamic data related to actions performed in the ROCK Replicator cities (e.g. events, installations, co-design laboratories, temporary transformations). The Atlases infographics, and one-page summaries of the actions include a series of data:
(o) dates of beginning and end of the action, (o) the exact location, (o) action finished or ongoing, (o) the list of stakeholders involved, (o) links to resulting materials (reports and publications).
The datasets collected in the ROCK Atlases contributes in re-defining and improving the ROCK local actions in the replicator cities, by visualizing the quantitative and quality impact: data collected in Atlases are evidence both of the effectiveness and of the failures associated with each CH-led regeneration initiative. Data and information about CH activities are made visible and accessible for citizens, researchers, PAs.
