Abstract

The database integrates raw data on resource use efficiency in indoor grown lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) and basil (Ocimum basilicum L.) plants undergoing different light intensities (100, 150, 200, 250 and 300 micromol m-2 s-1) supplied by a red (R) and blue (B) radiation (featuring 16 hours of photoperiod and a RB ratio of 3. Resource use is expressed as amount of resource needed to produce 1 gram of fresh weight (FW) and include Water Use Efficiency (WUE, g FW L-1 H2O) and Energy Use Efficiency (EUE, g FW kWh-1). Pooled data from 3 different cultivation cycles are included.
