Abstract
This dataset contains the data produced within the project “Connecting Micromechanics and Microstructure of Environmentally-Friendly Insulation Materials” (MICROENFRIM), carried out at the DMEX laboratory of the Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour (UPPA). The research investigates the microstructure and mechanical response of environmentally friendly insulation materials based on cementitious matrices and bio-derived or recycled aggregates. The dataset comprises micro-CT scans of multiple specimens acquired in both unloaded conditions and during in-situ mechanical loading, as well as after specific aging protocols and across different material formulations. Both high- and low-resolution tomographic images are provided to enable detailed analyses of internal structure and damage phenomena in sustainable building materials.
