Abstract
Considering the current concerns regarding antimicrobial resistance in the livestock industry, there is increasing interest in reducing the use of antibiotics in veterinary reproductive management. The present study aimed to evaluate the replacement of antibiotics with white grape pomace extract at two different concentrations (ELN and ECN) in bovine semen cryopreservation. After thawing, semen samples were pooled to minimize individual variability, and sperm quality was assessed using flow cytometry and a CASA system. In addition, sperm metabolic activity was evaluated using Seahorse technology.
