Abstract
The dataset comprises raw chromatographic data obtained by using Flash Gas Chromatography (Flash-GC) related to 45 monovarietal Grappa distillates coming from four grape marc varieties (Muscat, Prosecco, Barolo, and Brunello). Each sample was analysed in duplicate under identical experimental conditions. Multivariate chemometric methods, including Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Partial Least Squares Discriminant Analysis (PLS-DA), were applied to both the complete chromatographic data points and the corresponding peak-area datasets in order to assess which data representation provided the highest discriminative performance.
