Abstract
The dataset contains data related to the characterization of a new bio-based binder for water processable graphite anode. A new combination of chitosan-lactic acid (LA) has been used as water soluble binder for water-processable graphite anodes. Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) have been carried out for binder characterization, as well as T-peel tests, and electrochemical tests have been performed to assess electrode performance, also compared to the benchmark containing carboxymethyl cellulose - styrene-butadyene rubber water processable binder.
