Abstract

The dataset contains raw data about new experimental European sea bass diets, obtained in the framework of Horizon 2020 NewTechAqua project. Five experimental diets were formulated to totally replace wild-caught fishmeal (FM), fish oil (FO) and soy protein (SP) using fisheries and aquaculture by-products, and alternative vegetable protein. The data were obtained before, after and during the laboratory trial, in order to test these experimental diets on European sea bass. The raw data include biological parameters, such as initial and final body weight, feed administration, Ambiental parameter, and values of plasma biochemistry, consisting in 25 blood parameters, generally used to detect animal health. All data were then processed with formulas and indices to obtain growth results and evaluate nutritional indices.
