Abstract
The data presented have been collected in the framework of the Erasmus+ “IDENTITIES” project. In the project, a framework for interdisciplinarity was designed to innovate pre-service teachers (PSTs) education. The dataset contains transcripts from two sessions of the second Summer School held within the project at the University of Barcelona from June 27th to July 1st 2022. The Summer School was attended by PreService Teachers from the universities who participated in the IDENTITIES project (University of Barcelona, University of Bologna, University of Crete, University of Parma and University of Montpellier). All the PSTs were Master Students enrolled in a course for PSTs from Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science curricula.
The Summer School proposed two different types of topics: advanced STEM topics (“Climate Change” and “Modelling COVID”) and interdisciplinary curricular topics (“Cryptography” and “Linguistic and Epistemologic aspects of Interdisciplinarity”). The dataset contains the anonymous transcriptions of the discussions that 14 PSTs had while conducting the activities presented in the Climate Change module. In particular the data were collected during the third and fourth part of the module, where PSTs were asked to reflect on the concepts of complexity and to work with the different types of uncertainties. The data has been recorded, transcribed, and then transformed into an xlsx file for readability.
